Intro To Junk Journaling
Curious about Junk Journaling and what it is all about? Have you heard the term treasure book, mixed media album, art journal? In this class you will repurpose a book into a journal with unlimited uses. Use it for journaling, photos, bible verses, quotes and unlimited possibilities. Join us to learn more and make your own and get started in the world of journaling. Cost is $22.00 and class is Friday, April 19th 6:30pm-8:30pm. Supplies required: liquid and dry adhesive, scissors, trimmer, ruler and pen/notebook to take notes. Book and ephemera will be provided.
Little Golden Book Class
In this class you will take your very own Little Golden Book and destruct it and re-struct it into an amazing book. Cost is $15.00 and class is Saturday, April 20th 9am-Noon. Supplies required: Little Golden Book, 13 sheets of 12×12 or 8 1/2 x 11 or a mixture of papers, double sided 1/2 inch and 1 inch tape, wet glue, paper trimmer, scissors, tool to make holes in signature (big bite or pokey tool), pencil and bone folder.
Made From Scratch Journal Class
Create a journal out of chipboard and your choice of papers. You will create a cover out of chipboard then sew in 3 six page signatures. It can be used for photos, quotes, journaling, bible verses, or many other uses. Cost is 18.00 and class is Saturday, April 20th 1:00pm-5:00pm. Supplies required: 18 sheets of paper for signature in 12×12 or 8 1/2×11 or mixture, 2 pieces of 12×12 and 2 matching cardstocks for the cover, double sided tape in 1/2 and 1 inch sizes, wet glue, paper trimmer, scissors, tool for making holes (big bite or pokey tool), bone folder and pencil.
