How to Shop with Daisy Lane

We love giving you lots of different ways to shop with us! ❤️

Our Daisy Lane Facebook page is where we post items for sale, host Facebook Live Sales and Auctions, and announce dates and times for in-person shopping at our store in Mattoon, IL.

Be sure to check our Facebook page often so you don’t miss new sale posts, special events, Live Sales, Auctions, or store shopping dates!

Whether you love the excitement of a Live Sale, enjoy bidding in an Auction, or prefer being the first to spot a new Sale Post and comment SOLD, we have a shopping option for you!

However you choose to shop, we truly appreciate you choosing Daisy Lane! 💕

🛍️ Sale Posts

From time to time, we’ll post pictures of items available for purchase, along with the price, quantity, and any other important details.

To purchase an item:

  1. Comment under the post with what you’d like to purchase.
  2. When you’re finished shopping, send us a Facebook PM letting us know you’re done shopping.
  3. Let us know whether you need shipping or will be picking up in person.

If you need shipping:

We’ll package your items and send you an invoice through PayPal or Venmo.

New customers: Before commenting on a sale post, please send us a PM with your information.

If you’re requesting shipping, please include your full mailing address and the email address associated with your PayPal or Venmo account.

Local Pickup:

If you’re local and plan to pick up your items, simply let us know in your message. You can pay when you pick up your order.

Payment options for local pickup: Cash or credit/debit card.
Credit/debit card purchases have a 4% processing fee added.

📺 Facebook Live Sales

Every month or two, we’ll host a Facebook Live Sale, usually on a Sunday at 4:00 PM Central Time.

During the Live Sale, we’ll show you items that have a set price. Each item will have a number, and the first person to comment the item number on our Facebook page gets the item.

Some items may have multiple quantities available, while others may be one-of-a-kind.

A Few Things to Know:

Live Sales move FAST! We go by the first comment that appears on our Facebook page.

We’ve been told by customers that using a desktop computer and/or having a fast internet connection can sometimes make comments appear more quickly. Your internet connection, phone, or device may cause your comments to appear later than you expect.

Important: Regardless of how comments appear on your screen, the winner will always be the person whose comment appears first on our Facebook page.

Some customers absolutely LOVE the excitement of Live Sales, while others find them a little frustrating. The best way to know if they’re for you is to join us for a Live Sale and give it a try!

🔨 Facebook Auctions

Our Facebook Auctions are a fun way to bid on some of our more valuable, hard-to-find, and highly sought-after items, including things like:

  • Tim Holtz
  • Stampin’ Up!
  • Jelly Roll fabrics
  • And other specialty craft items

Auctions will typically be posted on a Sunday afternoon and remain open for bidding until 7:00 PM Central Time on Wednesday.

All auction dates and times will be clearly posted in the auction post.

How Bidding Works:

  • Each item will have its own picture and you place your bid by commenting under the picture.
  • You can bid any dollar amount, as long as it is a whole-dollar increment.
  • No quarter or half-dollar bids.
  • Your bid must be higher than the current high bid.
  • The current high bid will be shown in the comments under each item.
  • At 7:00 PM Central Time on Wednesday, comments will be turned off and the highest bidder wins the item at their final bid price.
  • We will “Like” the winning comment.
  • Comments will then be turned back on so everyone can see the winners.

Tip: Auctions are left open for several days, so be sure to check back and look at the comments under the items you’re interested in to see the current bid.

Auction dates are also advertised on the calendar pinned at the top of our Facebook page.

🏪 In-Person Shopping at Daisy Lane

We love seeing our customers in person!

We try to have the store open for shopping:

Wednesdays: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Thursdays: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
One weekend each month

We’ll always advertise our upcoming in-person shopping dates and times on our Facebook page, so be sure to check before making the trip.

Important: Our schedule can change, and there may be some Wednesdays or Thursdays when we are closed. Please check our Facebook calendar before coming!
