Beginners Design Space Class | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Did you get a Cricut Machine or have owned one for awhile and unsure how it all works? Then take this beginners class where you will learn Design Space, cutting, welding, attaching, slicing, uploading and more. Class is $30 per student. Supplies needed are: laptop that has Design Space uploaded and updated, Cricut machine, paper, mats, scraper to remove paper from mat. Class will be taught on laptop. Tablet buttons are different so you will need to make sure you are aware of that if bringing tablet to work off of.

Call to sign up at 217/234-1061. Out of courtesy to teacher and other students please be here and ready to start class at time class starts. You will need to log onto wifi, log onto Design Studio website and have Cricut hooked up and ready to go at 10am sharp.

Maxed Out Mega Crop
Maxed Out Mega Crops are held here at Daisy Lane and are 3 days.  No bells or whistles offered during these, just plenty of time to get caught up on your projects.  If you need some time away to craft then join us for one of these events.  Friday 8am-Midnight, Saturday 8am-Midnight and Sunday 8am-3pm. You will receive electricity offered at your spot, use of all Daisy Lane's  non perishable tools, 2 mid day snacks Fri/Sat, coffee, tea/lemonade, 2 suppers Fri/Sat.  You will also receive a coupon sheet to use that weekend valued at over $140.  Lunch is on your own and you can get it delivered here or we do have a kitchen if you want to bring your own food.  All items you bring must fit under your table.  No wagons or extra tables allowed blocking the aisles.   

We did a survey and the majority of you said you wanted more space to work.  So we have come up with 2 options that will please everyone.  If you want your own 8ft table then the fee is $120.  If you want to share a table and receive 4ft then the fee is $80.  Keep in mind if you are coming with friends, seating will be arranged by those wanting full or half tables.  Pre payment and registration required to sign up.  Cancellation Policy: refund will be given if you cancel within 1 week before date.  Call 217/234-1061 to register.

1 Day Pricing: We are allowing those who can only attend 1 day a cheaper rate.  If we have space available the last week before Maxed Out Mega Crop and you can attend for 1 day then the price for a 1/2 table will be $25.00.  You can either register for Friday or Saturday.  If you are attending 2 days only the price remains the same.  You may register for 1 day only during the last week prior and only if space allows for it.

Paint Your Own Piece | 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Bring in your own wooden piece to paint in this class! I will show you how to redo your small furniture piece from beginning to end! Included in this class is an 8 oz jar of Dixie Belle paint in your choice of color and an 8 oz jar of Clear Coat Satin to seal and protect your piece. You will choose your color the day of the class from what is in my booth. You will be able to use my cleaner, brushes, waxes, glazes, stencils, mulberry tissue, and transfers to add to your piece to make it fit your decor. I will be there every step of the way to show you how all of these products work! There are a few rules for this class to make sure we can get your piece done in 4 hours and with an 8 oz jar of paint: it MUST be wooden (no laminate or MDF) and you must be able to carry it yourself and fit it in your car. Here are some examples of things that would work perfectly for this class: side table, night stand, chair or barstool (no upholstery), small coffee table (no longer than 3 feet), foot stool or step stool (no upholstery), small dresser (no taller or wider than 3 feet), wooden bench (no longer than 3 feet). Crafter's Companion Class | 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
In this class we will be showing samples from the Modern Edgeables Kit, but you are welcome to bring any box kit to work on.  Bring 1 or several and Jan will be here to help you create.  Class fee is $10 if you purchase a kit from us or $20 if you purchased kit from somewhere else.  

Pre payment and registration required.  48 hr cancellation notice to receive refund.  Supplies needed are your box kit or kits and any supplies you will need that pertains to your box like inks, brushes, sponges, adhesive etc.  Call store at 217/234-1061 to register.

Do you want a very customized album where you choose the papers? Then this class if for you. We will be creating a sturdy album from chipboard and your choice of papers. Cost is $15 and pre payment and registration required.

Supplies Needed: trimmer, scissors, mat medium, score tape in 1/2" and 1" width, pen/pencil, paper piercer, 20 sheets of patterned paper an 3 sheets of cardstock.

We will be making an album from an old book and repurposed paper such as dictionary and sheet music. You will learn how to make the book, create signatures and how to put it all together. We will make 1 book in class and you will then take home enough materials to create another book. Cost is $18 and pre payment and registration required.

Supplies Needed: Exacto Knife, trimmer, scissors, mat medium, pen/pencil, paper piercer, and Big Bite Cropadile if you have one.

Mixed Media Workshop | 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Time to get messy (or not). Are you feeling overwhelmed by all the confusing mixed media materials on the market? Then come join us. If you are a cardmaker, scrapbooker, or journal maker then this class is for you. In this workshop you will learn techniques, have time to experiment and try them out. As well as create with a community of makers and share ideas.

Fee is $20 to register but you will receive a store credit of $20 to spend that day on merchandise. Class time is about 2 hours but you are welcome to stay and play longer. Each class will include at least 4 techniques or projects and each months class will be different.

Supplies Needed: bring card bases, pages or journal to work on. Also bring cutting tools, adhesives, inks and papers and any other supplies to match your project. Pre payment and registration required.

Pretty Organization Class | 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Come make a wooden box and tray organizer set uniquely yours with Dixie Belle Paint and Redesign with Prima products! We'll use paint, waxes, glazes, moulds, and transfers to create 2 beautiful pieces to store your pens, post-its, clips, hair and make up accessories, jewelry, and more. Make these for you or as a gift for a friend or family member!

Have unwanted craft supplies? Sell them in our rummage sale and you will earn store credit to purchase new craft supplies from us. Guidelines are listed in picture that you need to follow to be able to participate in this sale. All remaining items that didn't sell on Fri/Sat will be half price on the Mon/Tues. If interested in selling items call store to get assigned a letter to mark items with. Make sure you follow guidelines and ask questions if you need too. When you bring your items in to sell you will need to fill out a check off list.

Don't want to get rid of your items, no worry. Plan on shopping this event to get some great bargains. Sale will start Friday evening 5pm-7pm; Saturday 9-4; Monday/Tuesday 9-5 (all items half price Mon/Tues).
